Peas is a small card game that brings trick-taking mechanics to a lane battling game as you compete for sections of a pea. Aim to win the peas worth positive points and avoid the negative point worm cards. Lanes will resolve in order, so the first card played into a lane may not necessarily be the led suit when that lane’s trick is resolved.

My Thoughts
- Innovative mixture of trick-taking and lane battling into one game.
- While following suit in a lane is required if possible, it is too easy to void your hand of a particular suit by playing that color to other empty lanes first.

- Resolution order of tricks can create opportunities to win tricks with low numbers, so an unlucky deal isn’t impossible to make due with. Winning zero tricks will also win a round, if you have an all low hand.
- Has an appealing pitch and was the game I was most excited to play in the Mamé Wasabi line, but some plays of this fell very flat. Cooler in concept than in execution.
